Sydney Accommodation and Getaway Holidays

Sydney is the biggest city in Australia, it attracts more international visitors then any other city and has some of the country’s most well known landmarks. While the CBD is roughly one km wide by three km long, the Sydney metropolis stretches 30 km to the north and 24 kms to the south across several seaside suburbs. Sydney is bisected by the Parramatta River, which flows in to the Sydney Harbour. The Sydney region comes to an end at Palm Beach in the north, the Blue Mountains in the west and Port Hacking to the south.
There are some spectacular views to be found from a number of Sydney Hotels. Areas like The Rocks, Darling Harbour and Double Bay have hotel rooms and apartments that overlook the magnificent Sydney Harbour and Harbour Bridge. A fine example of this is the Park Hyatt Sydney. Located right at the edge of Sydney Harbour it has impressive views of the Bridge, Opera House and Harbour.
The Shangri-La Hotel Sydney also has sensational views from some of the rooms. This is 5 star Sydney accommodation at its best with sweeping 180 degree views of Sydney Harbour. All rooms have water views and extra large windows to take it all in. The Shangri-La Hotel also has a wide range of award winning restaurants and bars.
But no visit to Sydney would be complete with out a Sydney Harbour cruise. Anything from one hour sightseeing cruises, to lunch or dinner cruises, or even opera or stage show cruises, the choice is yours. But if the water isn’t your thing then you must try the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. The views are breathtaking!!
Sydney really is a great place for getaway holidays.
